Geddington 2nd Team made it four wins in a row with victory by 5 wickets against Old Grammarians at Sywell Road on Saturday. An unbeaten 74 partnership for the 6th wicket between Mark Neave (49*) and Colin Judd (28*) guided Geddington to victory with 7 balls to spare after being 113-5 in reply chasing 187 to win, David Goodjohn (40), Mark Thomas (24) and Steve Toseland (22) were also in the runs for the visitors. Andrew Brierley (3-21) took three wickets with the ball for Old Grammarians, Anthony Shepherdson (1-24) and Kane Brierley (1-29) both took a wicket each for the home side. Earlier, Old Grammarians batted first and made 186-9 off their 50 overs, Nathan Joshi (36) top-scored with the bat for the home side, Tom Pace (30) and A Shepherdson (29) were also in the runs. Mark Pearson (3-44) took three wickets with the ball for Geddington, Ned Wilson (2-18) and Neave (2-29) both took two wickets each and there was also a wicket for Callum Fox.
