Geddington 2nd Team were defeated by 7 wickets against Weldon 1st Team at Weldon Cricket Club on Saturday.
Geddington batted first and were All Out for 66 in 17.5 overs, Dan Wells (7-18) took seven wickets with the ball for Weldon, Zak Gillies (3-40) picked up the other three wickets to fall. Danial O'Callaghan (29) top-scored with the bat for the visitors, Marcus Knight (13) was the only other batsman to reach double figures.
In reply, Weldon reached their target of 67 in the 15th over with the loss of 3 wickets, Matthew Hay (28) top-scored with the bat for the home side, before Sinjin Bulbring (10*) and Joshua McLellan (10*) guided the hosts to victory. Lee Smith (2-19) and Colin Judd (1-27) were the wicket-takers with the ball for Geddington.
