Geddington 2nd Team continued their fine form with a 7 wicket win against Finedon Dolben 3rd Team at Colworth House on Saturday.
Finedon Dolben batted first and were All Out for 106 in 41.5 overs, Oliver Webb (41) top-scored with the bat for the home side, Nathan Clarke (24) was the only other batsman to reach the twenties mark, as both Webb and Clarke put on 60 for the 8th wicket partnership. James Schofield (4-30) and Lee Smith (3-20) were in the wickets early on for Geddington as the hosts were 39-7 before reaching 106 All Out, Jack Connelly (2-20) and Sam Smith (1-22) were the other wicket-takers with the ball for the visitors.
In reply, Geddington reached their target in the 25th over with 7 wickets in hand, Danial O'Callaghan (35*) in an innings which included 4 fours and 2 sixes top-scored with the bat, Mark Thomas (33) was also in the runs for the visitors. Cameron Arnold (1-11), Tejas Patel (1-18) and Josef Farrow (1-32) all took a wicket each with the ball for Finedon Dolben.
