Geddington batted first and made 259-6 off their 50 overs, Bayes Day (78) and Lee Smith (62) both scored half-centuries for the visitors, there was also contributions with the bat from Chris Harrison (35), Jack Connelly (32) and Mark Thomas (20*), L Smith and Connelly got the innings off to a good start by putting on 106 for the 1st wicket partnership. Connel Ray (2-37) and Colin Ray (2-49) both took two wickets each with the ball for Oundle Town, there was also a wicket for Jack Gerry for the home side.
In reply, Oundle Town were All Out for 202 in 44.1 overs, George Martin (96) top-scored with a half-century for the home side, Peter Ellis (22) was the only other batsman to get past the twenties mark. Day (3-16) was the pick of the Geddington bowlers with three wickets, Colin Judd (2-15) also took two wickets, and there was also a wicket each for Lee Sutherland, Sam Smith, Ben York, Connelly and Harrison for the visitors.
