Jamie Souster (86) and Joe Morton (60) both scored half-centuries, both Souster and Morton got the Irchester Innings off to a good start by putting on 164 for the 1st wicket partnership needing another 100 to win, but then wickets fell at regular periods with Ben York (4-53) and Marcus Knight (4-61) both taking four wickets each with the ball for Geddington, but in the end the visitors reached their victory target in the 49th over with 8 wickets down, Harry Green (38) and Brendon Tate (21) were the other main run-scorers with the bat.
Earlier, Geddington batted first and made 263-8 off their 50 overs, Brando Biddle (81) top-scored with a half-century for the home side, York (43), Chris Harrison (35) and Cole McWilliam (24*) were also in the runs with the bat, York and Biddle put on 75 for the 5th wicket partnership after being 131-4. Souster (3-66) and Scott Lawson (3-74) both took three wickets each with the ball for Irchester, there was also two wickets for Thomas Duxson (2-32) for the visitors.
