Geddington batted first and made 315-9 off their 50 overs, Bayes Day (89) top-scored with the bat for the visitors, there was also a half-century for Ben York (55), and there was also contributions with the bat from Mark Pearson (32), Cole McWilliam (31*) and Chris Harrison (21). Day and Pearson put on 99 for the 5th wicket partnership after being 70-4, and then McWilliam and Sam Smith (19) put on 59 for the 8th wicket partnership towards the end of the innings. Russell Eady (3-58) took three wickets with the ball for Rushden Town, there was also two wickets each for Richard Eady (2-40) and Aiden Payne (2-70) for the home side.
In reply, Rushden were All Out for 160 in 35.1 overs, J Ahmed (38) and Payne (34) were the main run-scorers with the bat for the home side. Jack Connelly (3-42) took three wickets with the ball for Geddington, there was also two wickets each for Lee Smith (2-14) and McWilliam (2-20), and there was also a wicket each for Day, S Smith and York for the visitors.
