3rd Team Lose By 38 Runs Away At Weldon 2nd Team.

Weldon 2nd Team 150-6 30 Overs (26pts), Geddington 3rd Team 112-6 30 Overs (4pts).
Geddington 3rd Team were defeated by 38 runs away at Weldon 2nd Team in a 30 overs per-side contest due to early rain.
Weldon batted first and made 150-6 off their 30 overs, William Hay (46), Martin Murkitt (30) and Lewis Rae (21*) were in the runs for the home side. Miles Knight (3-21) was the pick of the Geddington bowlers with three wickets, Rob Hayes (2-59) also picked up two wickets and there was also one for Matt Johns (1-33). Paul Rowden had a good day in the catching department taking three catches for the visitors.
In reply, Geddington were struggling at 6-3, before Mark Thomas (52) and Rowden (28) put on 95 for the 4th wicket partnership to guide the visitors to 112-6 off their 30 overs. Kristien Warren (4-16) and Zak McGraw (2-26) were the wicket-takers for Weldon.
