Geddington 3rd Team started off their 2015 league season with a 7 wicket win away at Great Houghton 2nd Team.
Great Houghton batted first and were All Out for 105 in 39 overs, as only three of the home side's batsman getting into double figures. Phil Peel (3-29) was the pick of the Geddington bowlers with three wickets. Callum Fox (2-7) and Matt Johns (2-26) both picked up two wickets each and there was also one each for Miles Knight, Harry Bolton and Alex Rowden.
In reply, Mark Thomas (34) got the Geddington innings off to a good start with the bat, before Paul Rowden (10*) and Knight (24*) guided the visitors to victory with just the loss of 3 wickets.
