Geddington 3rd Team were defeated by 84 runs away against Hardingstone 1st Team at Wootton Sports Centre.
Hardingstone batted first and made 263-5 off their 45 overs, Jamie Hartnett (63), James Hall (59) and Harry Rowe (56) all making half-centuries for the home side. Miles Knight (2-52) and Callum Fox (2-62) picked up two wickets each for Geddington and there was also a wicket for Harry Bolton.
In reply, Geddington finished on 179-5 off their 45 overs, Mark Thomas (55) top-scoring for the visitors with a half-century, Alfie Napier (49) and Knight (36) were also in the runs. Simon Chapman (2-21) was the pick of the Hardingstone bowlers with two wickets.
