Geddington 3rd Team continued their fine form with a 171 runs victory away at Horton House 4th Team and also to go joint top of the Northants Cricket League Division 11 Table with that result.
Geddington batted first and made 254-5 off their 40 overs, Miles Knight (99) and Paul Rowden (55) both scoring half-centuries with the bat for the visitors, Knight and Rowden put on 149 for the 3rd wicket partnership. Charlie Wall (2-37) was the pick of the Horton House bowlers with two wickets.
In reply, Knight (5-11) took five wickets with the ball for Geddington as Horton House were all out for 83 in 29.2 overs, Rowden (2-5) and Bob Wilson (2-7) also took two wickets each for the visitors. Paul Das (20) and Mark Glover (20) both top-scored with the bat for the home side.
