Geddington 3rd team bounced back from last week's defeat with a 59 runs victory against Kettering Town 3rd Team at Burton Latimer Cricket Club on Saturday.
Brooklyn Biddle (3-18) and Phil Peel (3-26) both took three wickets with the ball for Geddington as Kettering were All Out for 106 in 29.4 overs chasing 166 to win, Brandon Holmes (2-10) and Matt Johns (2-28) also took two wickets for the home side. Lee Sims (17) top-scored with the bat for the visitors.
Earlier, Geddington batted first and made 165-9 off their 40 overs, Brooklyn Biddle (48*) top-scored with the bat for the home side, Brodie Biddle (41) and Roger Paterson (23) were also in the runs, Brooklyn and Brodie Biddle put on 59 for the 5th wicket partnership after being 43-4 earlier on in a innings. Sean Turner (4-34) was the pick of the Kettering Town bowlers with four wickets, Sims (2-40) and Ian Russell (2-43) also took two wickets each with the ball for the visitors.
