Geddington 3rd Team were defeated by 5 wickets against Harlestone 2nd Team at Harlestone Cricket Club on Saturday.
Geddington batted first and were All Out for 149 in 40 overs, Brodie Biddle (51) top-scored with a half-century for the visitors, David Goodjohn (38) and Ben Templeman (27) were also in the runs. Alex Taylor (6-36) was the pick of the Harlestone bowlers with six wickets, James Robinson (2-28) also took two wickets for the home side.
In reply, Harlestone reached their target in the 30th over with 5 wickets down, Elliott Slinn (57) and Jaskirat Singh Lal (49*) were both in the runs for the home side, Slinn and Singh Lal put on 110 for the 5th wicket partnership after being 21-4. Brandon Holmes (3-19) took three wickets with the ball for Geddington, Ben York (1-14) and Phil Peel (1-21) both also took a wicket each for the visitors.
