Geddington 3rd XI V Weekley & Warkton 3rd XI Match Report:

Geddington 3rd Team bounced back from last weekend defeat with a brilliant 8 wicket win against Weekley & Warkton 3rd Team at Burton Latimer Cricket Club on Saturday.
Weekley & Warkton batted first and were All Out for 76 in 30.3 overs, Mark Pearson (4-15) took four wickets with the ball for Geddington, Miles Knight (2-16) and Brandon Holmes (2-24) also took two wickets each for the home side and there was also wicket for Joshua Knight (1-2). Stephen Walton (25) top-scored with the bat for the visitors, Antony Mottola (14) and Leon Hines (11) were the only other two batsman to reach double figures.
In reply, Geddington reached their victory target in the 17th over with 8 wickets to spare. David Goodjohn (36*) top-scored with the bat for the home side, Goodjohn and Paul Rowden (18) put on 61 for the 1st wicket partnership, M Knight (9) was the other wicket to fall in the Geddington innings. Then Goodjohn and Roger Paterson (4*) guided the hosts to the win. Mottola (2-13) took two wickets with the ball for Weekley & Warkton.
