Joshua Knight scored his first half-century in senior cricket on Saturday for Geddington 3rd Team in their No Result match against Little Harrowden 1st Team at Burton Latimer Cricket Club.
Knight (70) top-scored with a half-century in an innings which included 9 fours and 1 six as Geddington reached 143-5 off 37.4 overs when the heavens opened and no more play was possible. Brooklyn Biddle (17) and Paul Rowden (15) were also in the runs for the home side, Rowden and Knight put on 63 for the 1st wicket partnership. Richard Mitchum (3-38) took three wickets with the ball for Little Harrowden, there was also a wicket for Dean Gardner (1-39).
