Geddington 3rd XI Hit Over 300 With The Bat In Their 157 Runs Victory Away At Overstone Park 4th XI.
Geddington 3rd XI defeated Overstone Park 4th XI by 157 runs at Overstone Park Cricket Club in the Northamptonshire Cricket League Division 10 match on Saturday.
Geddington batted first and made 301-8 off their 40 overs, Mark Pearson (80 off 74 balls), Ben Templeman (76 off 56 balls) and James Bye (52 off 38 balls) all made half-centuries with the bat for the visitors, David Goodjohn (26) was also in the runs, Templeman and Pearson got the innings off to a brilliant start by putting on 134 for the 1st wicket partnership. Benjamin Sales (3-65) took three wickets with the ball for Overstone Park, there was also two wickets each for Daniel Bird (2-60) and Ajil Unnikrishnan (2-67).
In reply, Overstone Park were All Out for 144 in 29.3 overs. Ben York (4-48) took four wickets with the ball for Geddington, there was also two wickets each for Pearson (2-1), Zachary Byers (2-22) and Joshua Knight (2-31). Jack Tyson (32), Richard Grayson (25), Sales (24), George Barry (21) and Andrew Thacker (21) were all in the runs with the bat for Overstone Park.
