Wollaston 3rd XI V Geddington 3rd XI Match Report - Saturday 6th July 2019.

Northamptonshire Cricket League Division 9 league leaders Geddington 3rd Team defeated Wollaston 3rd Team by 35 runs at Emberton on Saturday.

Geddington batted first and made 155-9 off their 40 overs, Brooklyn Biddle (48) top-scored with the bat for the visitors, David Goodjohn and Brooklyn Biddle put on 51 for the 4th wicket partnership, after the loss of 3 early wickets with the score on 39. Adrian Ward (2-16), Nathan Folkes (2-37) and Jacob Cotter (2-45) all took two wickets each with the ball for Wollaston, there was also a wicket for Paul Jones (1-21) for the home side.

In reply, Wollaston finished on 120-9 off their 40 overs, Jones (22) top-scored with the bat for the home side, he was the only batsman to past the twenties mark. Brando Biddle (2-12), Archie Colwill (2-15) and Stanley Kirk (2-36) all took two wickets each with the ball for Geddington, there was also a wicket each for Brooklyn Biddle, James Schofield and Mark Pearson for the visitors.
