Great Houghton 2nd XI V Geddington 3rd XI Match Report - Saturday 13th July 2019.

Geddington 3rd Team were defeated by 43 runs against Great Houghton 2nd Team at Great Houghton Cricket Club in the Northants Cricket League Division 9 match on Saturday.

Mark Pearson (7-3-19-5) took five wickets with the ball for Geddington, as Great Houghton were All Out for 123 in 38.2 overs, Ben McDade (2-20) and Archie Colwill (2-28) both took two wickets each, there was also a wicket for Stanley Kirk (1-11) for the visitors. Archie Buglass (48) top-scored with the bat for the home side.

In reply, Geddington were All Out for 80 in 27.2 overs, M Pearson (38) top-scored with the bat for the visitors, Brooklyn Biddle (13) and Harry Spence (11) were the only other two batsman to reach double figures, M Pearson and Mark Toseland put on 37 for the 8th wicket partnership, after being 36-7. Mike Sawle (4-20) took four wickets with the ball for Great Houghton, James Skevington (3-42) also took three wickets, there was also two wickets for Buglass (2-4) and one for Andy Usher (1-11) for the home side.
