Geddington Sunday Team won by 20 runs against Old Eastonians Sunday Team in a brilliant friendly match between the two teams at Geddington Cricket Club on Sunday.
Geddington batted first and made 241-5 off their 40 overs, Joshua Knight (52 Retired Not Out) and Benedict Harvey (51 Retired Not Out) both made half-centuries with the bat, Ben York (42), Ned Wilson (27) and Brooklyn Biddle (24) were also in the runs for the home side. Tom Diciccio, Matt White, Toby Ingram, Danny Diciccio and Ian Hadlow all took a wicket each with the ball for Old Eastonians.
In reply, Old Eastonians were All Out for 221 in 36.5 overs, Max Levine (119 off 91 balls) in an innings which included 23 fours was the star performer with the bat by scoring a century, Gez Chambers (33) and White (29) were also in the runs for the visitors, Levine and White put on 61 for the 8th wicket partnership after being 123-7 early on in the innings, to keep them with a chance of winning the game. Knight (3-2) took three wickets with the ball for Geddington, there was also two wickets each for Hanna McDade (2-13) and York (2-34), there was also a wicket each for Archie Colwill, Lewis Skorupa and Cole McWilliam for the home side.
