Geddington Under-15's Defeated By 9 Wickets Away At Weekley & Warkton.
Geddington 37-6 16 Overs, Weekley & Warkton 38-1 9.2 Overs.
Geddington Cricket Club Under-15's lost their first game of the season by 9 wickets against Weekley & Warkton Under-15 at Boughton Park.
Geddington made 37-6 off their 16 overs, Brandon Holmes (7) top-scored for the visitors, Joel Raynor (3-8) was the pick of the Weekley & Warkton bowlers with three wickets, there was also one each for Jack Issitt (1-0), Connor Hill (1-6) and Edward Drake-Lee (1-7).
In reply, the hosts were 0-1 as Holmes got the wicket of Sam Smith caught by Brandon Moore, but then an unbeaten 2nd wicket partnership of 38 between Oliver Bosworth (16*) and Drake-Lee (13*) guided Weekley & Warkton to victory with 6.4 overs to spare.
