Geddington Under-15's defeated Brigstock Under-15's by 8 wickets in the Corby & District Youth Cricket League Under-15's Division South at Geddington Cricket Club on Tuesday Evening.
Brigstock batted first and made 89-5 off their 20 overs, Harry Howell (49) top-scored with the bat for the visitors, Tom Ettridge (24*) was also in the runs, Howell and Ettridge put on 64 for the 3rd wicket partnership. James Hogg (2-7) took two wickets with the ball for Geddington, there was also a wicket each for Joshua Knight (1-1), Sam Smith (1-9) and Brooklyn Biddle (1-12).
In reply, Geddington reached their winning target with 2 wickets down in the 11th over, Knight (38) top-scored with the bat in an innings which included 3 fours and 2 sixes, before Zachary Byers (20*) and Biddle (17*) guided Geddington to victory, Knight and Byers put on 51 for the 2nd wicket partnership after the early loss of Benedict Harvey for 10. Ettridge and Howell both took a wicket each with the ball for Brigstock.
