Geddington Under-15's made it two wins out of two league games with a 9 wicket victory against Desborough Town Under-15's at Desborough Town Cricket Club on Tuesday Evening.
Desborough Town batted first and made 131-7 off their 20 overs, Lewis Ward (51 Retired Not Out) top-scored with a half-century for the home side, David James Hornby (19), Ben Waterhouse (16) and William Sercombe (14) were also in the runs with the bat. Joshua Knight (4-2-14-3) took three wickets with the ball for Geddington, there was also a wicket each for Cole McWilliam (1-17) and Ben York (1-19) and two Run-Outs from Poppy Gibson for the visitors.
In reply, Knight (54 Retired Not Out off 39 balls) in a innings which included 7 fours and 1 six guided Geddington to their victory target with 3.4 overs to spare and 9 wickets in hand, Akaash Baiju (38*) and Stanley Kirk (37* off 18 balls) both finished unbeaten with the bat for a visitors, Baiju, Knight and Kirk all put on an unbeaten 133 for the 2nd wicket partnership after being 1-1 early on. Hornby (1-15) took the only wicket to fall with the ball for Desborough Town.
