Geddington Under-15's began their Corby & District Youth Cricket League Under-15's Division season, with a 105 runs victory against Weldon Under-15's at Geddington Cricket Club on Wednesday Evening.

Geddington batted first and made 136-2 off their 16 overs, Connor Napier (48*) and Poppy Gibson (34) got the home side innings off to a good start by putting on 65 for the 1st wicket partnership, before Napier and Sam Smith (19*) put on an unbeaten 52 partnership for the 3rd wicket to get the hosts up to their total of 136. Chloe Hay (1-12) and Keira Potter (1-18) both took a wicket each with the ball for Weldon.

In reply, Weldon finished their innings on 31-8 off their 16 overs, Aiden Wymant (13) top-scored with the bat for the visitors. Napier (2-1), Archie Colwill (2-4) and Caitlyn Connelly (2-4) all took two wickets each with the ball for Geddington, there was also a wicket each for James Hogg (1-0) and Joshua Knight (1-2) for the home side.
