Geddington Under-15's were defeated by 49 runs against Weldon Under-15's, in the Corby & District Youth Cricket League Under-15's Division 2 match at Weldon Cricket Club on Tuesday Evening.
Weldon batted first and made 134-3 off their 20 overs, Joey Harris (46) top-scored with the bat for the home side, Kian Bratley (35*) was the other main run-scorer for the hosts. Evan Arnold (4-0-10-1), Henry Brandrick (1-18) and Hanna McDade (1-18) all took a wicket each with the ball for Geddington.
In reply, Geddington finished on 85-7 off their 20 overs, Brandrick (22) top-scored with the bat, Arnold (10) was the other main run-scorer for the visitors. Chloe Hay (2-17) took two wickets with the ball for Weldon, there was also a wicket each for Jake Kerfoot (1-9), Ronan Kelleher (1-14) and William Holmes (1-22) for the home side.
