Match Result: Geddington won by 49 runs.
Geddington (28pts) 135 36 Overs, Old Grammarians (6pts) 86 30.4 Overs.
Alex Rowden continued his fine form with the ball, with his third five wicket-haul of the season for Geddington 4th Team in their 49 runs victory against Old Grammarians 3rd Team at Emberton on Saturday.
A Rowden (9.4-2-23-5) took five wickets for Geddington, as Old Grammarians were All Out for 86 in 30.4 overs, chasing 136 for victory, Matt Johns (4-22) took four wickets with the ball, there was also a wicket for Caitlyn Connelly (1-17) for the visitors. Pritul Khagram (30) top-scored for the home side, Sachin Ganatra (15) and Matthew Ward (11) were the only other two batsman to reach double figures with the bat.
Earlier, Geddington batted first and were All Out for 135 in 36 overs, A Rowden (26), Paul Rowden (25), Johns (17) and Connelly (17) were all in the runs with the bat for the visitors, A Rowden and Connelly put on 48 for the 7th wicket partnership, after being 68-6 early on in their innings. Kevin Odell (4-21) took four wickets with the ball for Old Grammarians, there was also three wickets each for Ashley Jeffery (3-22) and Amit Ganatra (3-34) for the home side.
