Miles Knight top-scored with a half-century for Geddington 4th XI, in their 63 runs defeat against Bold Dragoon 2nd XI at Bold Dragoon Cricket Club on Saturday.
Knight (61) in an innings which included 9 fours and 2 sixes, scored a half-century with the bat for Geddington, as they were All Out for 156 in 31.4 overs, Matt Johns (43) was the other main run-scorer for the visitors. Russell Heyworth (10-3-40-4) and Dean Collins (9-1-43-4) both took four wickets each with the ball for Bold Dragoon, Hugh Smith (1-21) and Thomas Holliday (1-23) both took a wicket each for the home side.
Earlier, Aman Singh (100*) in an innings which included 15 fours and 1 six, top-scored with an unbeaten century for Bold Dragoon in their 219-4 off their 40 overs, James Hurrell (32), Heyworth (23) and Mike Chew (22) were the other main run-scorers with the bat for the home side, Chew and Singh put on 68 for the 3rd wicket partnership, the highest partnership of the innings. Johns (1-36), Adam Pearson (1-42), Phil Peel (1-45) and Knight (1-45) all took a wicket each with the ball for Geddington.
