Gedling............1 (Hogg 23)
Blaby and W....1 (Potter 44)
Yet another draw in an uninspiring game
The Miners gave another hard working display but failed to wrestle the three points from an industrious Blaby outfit.
In a game of few decent opportunities both sides did barely enough in the final third to win the game.
Felix Hogg gave the homesters the lead in the 23rd minute as his free kick from fully 22yards sailed over Holyoak's out stretched fingers to fly into the top corner. The keeper will not want to see that one again.
The game was held up for over 25 minutes ten minutes before the interval due to a serious shoulder injury to visiting forward Toby Warner who had to be transported by ambulance to the QMC. All at Gedling wish Toby a speedy recovery.
Bang on half time Jouel Potter levelled things up after winning a one on one race with Miles for the ball.
A flurry of substitutions failed to light up the game in the second half and the 1-1 scoreline was just about right.
