Glapwell were 2-0 up after 17 minutes with Josh Parfitt on the scoresheet both times.
But, before half-time, the game had totally swung in favour of the visitors as goals from Josh Dickinson, Thomas Durrant and Tom Pick gave the visitors the lead.
The second half was a completely different story, though, and after Glapwell were refused an absolute stone-wall penalty, they ran in six goals in the final half an hour to blow Harworth away.
Daniel Russell made it 3-3 on the hour before substitute Jake Ballinger fired Glapwell in front after good play by Josh Parfitt.
Ballinger then scored again soon after before he crossed for Parfitt to head home to complete his hat-trick and make it 6-3.
Parfitt added another when he rounded the keeper and slotted home before Tom Norris' free-kick from the left hand side 25 yards from goal floated over the keeper's head for Glapwell's eighth.
Glapwell climb to seventh after this great victory and are in action again on Wednesday evening when they travel to Blidworth Welfare in the second round of the League Challenge Cup, kick-off 7.45pm.
