We wish James Cusworth all the best for the new season as he settles into his new club, Horbury Town.

Following last night’s game we spoke to manager Lee and this is what he had to say.

"Disappointing result last night but sometimes you have to give credit to your opponents. We weren’t great, especially in the first half where I thought we looked very lightweight and were being bullied all over the field. Passes were going astray and we were just sloppy in possession.
We had a couple of decent chances we should have done better with but didn’t create anywhere near enough. Individual errors are also costing us at the moment and that’s something else that needs to be addressed. In contrast I thought they played some fantastic football and Cuzzy has taken both of his goals superbly.
There were some honest words spoken at the break and I thought we came out in the second period and gave it a go but on the night we were a distant second to a very good side.
The feeling amongst the group is that we could and should have won at least a couple of our games so far this season based on our overall performances - just key moments and decisions we’ve made during those games have cost us the points and that’s something our young side need to improve upon. It’s a long season and they’ll learn as we go along and if we can perform like we have done for most of the season so far we won’t be a million miles away from where we want and need to be.
We’ll also be looking at a few new players in training over the coming weeks as we do need to strengthen in certain positions and have real competition for places all over the park.
