The gaffers thoughts on the FA Vase victory as well as the draw's for the next round of FA Vase and Kent Senior Trophy!

“Pleased to progress through to the next round, I thought we had decent amounts of control in the 1st half and created a few chances then got the goal from Sammy. It was a challenging game, both conditions and surface wise. To be fair to Holmer Green, they made it difficult for us, making us defend at every opportunity. I think we stood up relatively well to that. Second half there were some really questionable offsides which could’ve made the game a lot more comfortable. The game was a potential banana skin but I didn’t feel like we were ever in a situation where we were ever under massive pressure. Big G did make 2 really good saves, I felt we were always in control of the game. It wasn’t a classic and we won’t be able to play our free-flowing football all the time. It was good for the boys to see that different side."

Harry Hudson on Peter Wedgeworth debut: “Even in the cameo he’s done, we’ve seen the quality of his set plays. We’ve scored 2 goals from them, another one cleared off the line and then one that hit the crossbar. We know the quality he possesses and he’s going to be a real asset to us this season”

Harry Hudson on Nico Lawrence: "Real credit to Nico, 18 years old centre half. He’s come in and had to stand up and be a man in there. It will be fantastic for his development and I’m proud of him"

Jamie Philpot with a brace taking him to 21 goals this season already!
