Glenrothes P6-7 Minis had the experience of a lifetime at Scotstoun Stadium on Friday 11th April when they provided the Guard of Honour for the Glasgow Warriors v Cardiff Blues match.
Then at half-time, along with other clubs, they played a mini rugby match to entertain the crowd at half-time. Glenrothes were drawn to play against Allan Glens which happens to be the former club of the retiring Glasgow captain and former Scotland international Al Kellock.
Glenrothes gave as good as they got in one of their best performances of the season so far, and their good play was commented on by other teams coaches.
All in all the group thoroughly enjoyed the experience of walking out in front of such a big crowd. They also enjoyed the Kidszone and of course the hot dogs (!) and were all a great credit to Glenrothes Rugby Club!
