Finley is a young defender with bags of potential, having arrived from Stockport County last season, he also had a short spell with Avro during last year. At Stockport County, Finley signed his first full time professional contract when he signed a 1 year deal in September 2020. Before this, Finley was on the radar of the first time for a long time, having featured on the bench for County in an FA Trophy victory over Blyth Spartans at Edgeley Park.

Tall, quick, and very comfortable in possession of the ball, Finley will be looking to kick on his GNE journey this next season, having made 15 appearances for The Hillmen last season, scoring his first goal for the club in an away fixture at 1874 Northwich.
