Glossop North End are delighted to announce a new commercial partnership with Contented Canines Training School.

Contented Canines are a local puppy training firm also known as ‘The Puppy Nanny’. The new partnership will see dedicated puppy training classes arrive here at the GNE clubhouse for the first time ever, with sessions taking place on Wednesday & Friday evenings from 6pm. In addition to existing clubhouse hire arrangements & activities, the puppy classes will now see the GNE clubhouse in use for a minimum of 4 nights per week.

With courses currently planned to commence in late July, Contented Canines is a long established business, who offer training classes to dogs of all ages from new puppies to older dogs, with a focus on puppy training and socialisation. Whether its training for first time dog owners, or helping get through those early teething problems, the team at Contented Canines are here to help!

Nicola Davies ‘’The Puppy Nanny’’ said, ‘’ I am delighted that Glossop North End have welcomed us to their fantastic venue and I can't wait to share it with local dog and puppy owners. A lot of people have taken lockdown as an opportunity to welcome a new Puppy into their homes, so I'm all set up to make sure I can offer the best possible training and socialisation classes as soon as restrictions are lifted, hopefully in July. As Glossopdale’s Number 1 Puppy trainer I'm expecting it to be a busy Summer of puppies and I'm looking forward to getting stuck in’’.

GNE Football Secretary Dan Bates said ‘’ The deal with Contented Canines has already been a few weeks in the making, with a lot of hard work ensuring the facilities we have on offer are suitable for what Nicola and her team require, and how both parties can work together to make this partnership mutually beneficial both in the short and long term. Once again this emphasises our push to commercialise the clubs profile off the pitch & in the local area. It’s a big statement that we’re growing as a business entity and continue to raise the bar in terms of the levels of non-football income GNE can generate. This all helps us to grow the clubs infrastructure and sustainability as we take things forward. This new partnership really diversifies our commercial standpoint, and is quite unique in terms of a dog class being involved with a football club, the sense being that football fans don’t represent a key audience for dog training as such, but Nicola & Debbie have been very helpful and we’re looking forward to welcoming a new group of people into our dog friendly stadium via the new puppy classes’’.
