GNE are reminding supporters of your conduct whilst following the team both at The Amdec Forklift Stadium and away from home.

Everybody at Glossop North End has been truly humbled by your incredible support. The atmosphere at The Amdec Forklift Stadium has been spectacular and the away support has been inspirational. We want you to know how much this means to everyone at the Club and the manager and players in particular. We truly thank you for this.

It is also important that we all act in a way which protects our fellow supporters and which does not expose the Club and players to unnecessary risks. Across football there has been concern at the behavior of a small minority of supporters who through their actions are causing substantial risks to themselves and others as well as risking serious sanctions on both the Club and themselves.

Some historical incidents of unacceptable behavior, thankfully rare, have undermined the family values of our club and those responsible and identified have been sanctioned accordingly, together with their details being passed to the respective police force and authorities. This policy remains squarely in place.

GNE will not tolerate attitudes or behaviours that amount to discrimination through prejudice, ignorance, thoughtlessness or stereotyping. Furthermore, the club expects all supporters to abide by the Football Authority regulations. Necessary action has, and will continue to be taken, against the individuals who are identified as the club will not tolerate this kind of behavior moving forward.

Misconduct in relation to the above not only leaves individuals open to prosecution but can also lead to action being taken against a club. In short, don’t be the reason your club’s reputation or position is put in jeopardy.

The conduct of fans in the ground is also covered by the National League/Football Association Ground Regulations, to which supporters give their agreement by entering stadiums, specifically including but not limited to:

10. The use of threatening behavior and/or foul or abusive language is strictly forbidden and may result in arrest and/or ejection from the Ground. The Club may impose a ban (including, but not limited to, a ban for one or more Matches) and/or the removal of season ticket(s) for any such behavior.

11. Any act of victimization as defined in the Equality Act 2010 or any act of discrimination by reason of ethnic origin, colour, race, nationality, religion or belief, gender, gender reassignment, sexual orientation, disability age, pregnancy, maternity, marital status or civil partnership, or other forms of harassment is strictly forbidden and will result in arrest and/or ejection from the Ground. The Club may impose a ban (including, but not limited to, a ban for one or more Matches) and/or the removal of season ticket(s) for any such behavior.

Supporters can report any incident of racist or anti-social behavior at a Glossop North End home match to the Stadium security staff. Please provide information including approximate location as well as names or descriptions if possible.

Our biggest and clearest message once again is one of thanks to 99% of our incredible supporters. We hope everyone associated with the club enjoys the upcoming season and continues to back the lads loudly and proudly.
