The Commercial Manager will take the lead in attracting sponsorships, building business relationships, and creating opportunities for the club to increase revenue. From advertising boards and programme sponsorship to matchday hospitality and partnerships with local businesses, the role touches every part of how we generate the support we need to compete.

A Role That Requires Dedication
This is not a role for someone looking for a standard 9–5 job. It requires time, energy, and flexibility to deliver results. While consistent attendance on matchdays is not mandatory, there may be occasions where being at games is important for meeting sponsors, clients, or guests on an as and when required basis.

The position is largely voluntary, though commission may be available on new clients, subject to agreement with the board.

The Ideal Person
We are looking for someone who:

• Has the confidence to build strong relationships with local businesses.
• Can spot opportunities and isn’t afraid to pick up the phone or knock on doors.
• Is organised, reliable, and able to work independently.
• Brings enthusiasm, professionalism, and a passion for football at this level.

Experience in sales or commercial work would be helpful, but above all, we want someone who cares about Glossop North End and is willing to put in the effort to help us grow.
