
Gnosall wanting the chalk up their first league win of the season in front of an optimistic large home crowd, from the off it was clear that BC had come meaning business with the home side after 30 minutes being 19-3 down.
Both sides showed some fantastic flowing rugby but it was moving towards the second half that gnosall came back invigorated by three tries from Gnosall’s Tom Riley and replacements and they fought back to the final whistle to see the game finish 36-39 after a further two tries from new boy Second Row Anthony Fowler . Man of the match went to Euan Hopkins, Second Row, for his all round attacking and defensive play.
Despite coming short of the win, great positives came from the game and they go into the next fixture, away to Chaddesly Corbett, with heightened confidence.
