Training from 3 September 2018

Here's the lowdown on all the key details ...

Timing:

Every Monday, 8-9pm. If possible please look to arrive a few minutes early (circa 7:50pm) so that we can start promptly at 8 and get our full hour in.

Venue:

Dry Training Facility, The Harefield Academy, Northwood Way, Harefield, UB9 6ET. Access to the indoor 3G pitch is via the front door, past reception and straight ahead through the length of the entrance hall, then out the far door, turn left and the indoor astro pitch is the building on your right (ask reception if you get lost!). Recommended footwear is astros, moulds or trainers (not studs). You may also wish to wear shinpads.

Format:

In the main we will play matches, sometimes with conditions attached to them to help us focus on a particular element of our game. We'll also sometimes include a small element of fitness work and some exercises to improve our skills and technique.

Attendance:

Open to all squad players and also to other non-Saturday players (subject to capacity). Our code of conduct indicates that squad players should aim for an attendance rate of 75% or more (do get in touch if this is unrealistic for you). If you can't be at training then please quickly drop Pete a text on 07732 607602 - this will help us to plan sessions for those attending.

Cost:

£60 per term (term = Sep-Dec or Jan-Apr)
or for those able to make it less freqently:
£6 per session
More details of payment of subs to follow very soon.

Transport:

There's a large car park within the grounds of Harefield Academy. Please look to liftshare where appropriate. If anybody is without transport then please let Pete know and we'll try to arrange something.
