Changing Room Guidance

At Gomersal Cricket Club changing room facilities are available for both junior and senior teams.
On occasions when junior matches are on the same night as senior training, separate changing rooms will be available for the different age groups. These changing rooms may be adjacent and young players need to be aware that adults may be using the changing rooms nearby.
At the start of the cricket season the changing facilities may be shared with senior football.
Coaches or other adults from the club should not change or shower in the same changing room as the junior players.
Junior players playing in senior matches have to share adult changing facilities. Adults should avoid being alone with a young player in the changing rooms even where that young player is playing for the senior side.
It is accepted that some players do not feel comfortable showering and changing in front of others. In such instances the player should be encouraged to change at home.
