1. Club Rules


1. Players are expected to attend all training sessions & matches in a suitable condition. **

2. Players are expected to attend matches with clean and
presentable equipment, i.e. Shin pads, boots, goalkeeper gloves
(for Goalkeeper’s only). Failure to do so may lead to a club
fine.* I.e. After 3 warnings, a player will be fined £1, and
will not be eligible to play again until the fee is paid.*

3. Players must wear shin-pads in all training matches. **

4. Smoking is banned immediately before, during or after training
matches. It is also suggested that players who wish to be
successful and regular members of the team, do not smoke at
any time.

5. The consumption of alcohol on the day of a match, prior to the
final whistle, is prohibited for any member wishing to be in the
team line up.

6. Use of illegal drugs is condemned & prohibited by the club.

7. In the event of a member being booked or sent off, or involved
in a negative incident during a club match, the committee will
decide on the appropriate internal disciplinary action to take.*

8. Players must notify their manager if they are unable to attend
training, matches or other club functions, or they will face
internal disciplinary action.

9. Players are expected to pay training & match fees prior to the
event in question. **

10. Players are expected to pay registration fees by the deadline
set by the committee. **

11. A player who is in excess of 30 minutes late for a match day
meeting time, may be removed from the starting line-up. ** If a
player has not arrived 15 minutes before kick off, he is likely
to be replaced by an unselected, but present club member. **

12. Whenever possible, all members are expected to attend and support
club social meetings & events.

13. Violent conduct at any club event is prohibited.

14. To be deemed eligible for matches a player would need to have
attended a minimum of 2 training sessions. **

15. Players are expected to follow the manager’s pre-match
preparation procedure, and game plan. **

16. No ineligible player can play in a match. The manager is
responsible for ensuring that this never occurs.

17. The club committee must be elected at the clubs AGM, which should
take place no later than 4 weeks after the start of the season.
All players and club members have a right to attend the AGM.
Should a member oppose an election of a committee member, the
club will take a vote.

18. The Committee must meet officially at least once every six weeks
during the season, and at least twice during the pre-season.

19. Any club member can attend a Committee meeting, but they must
first inform the club Secretary. No more than 3 non-committee
members can attend a meeting at any one time (other than the AGM).

20. Committee members who attend league meetings or other formal
related events, must wear smart trousers, shirt and shoes, and
are also urged to wear a tie.

21. Should any member’s behaviour be deemed unacceptable, the
Committee will discuss and decide on the appropriate action. All
significant decisions will be ultimately put to vote, (with
minimum of 3 members of committee needed to be present), and only
where there is a majority can action be taken. (See also the
club disciplinary forms ID1, ID2 & ID3).

Note : - Failure to adhere to any of the club rules may lead to suspension, fines or expulsion from training, matches or even the club. * / **
