On a very hot August Saturday Prims welcomed Leicestershire side Ingles to The Fred Harding Ground.. Prims were looking to continue the form that saw them gain a point against Dunkirk earlier in the week.
It was Ingles that started on the front foot with their forwards giving the Prims back four something to think about. Both teams created half chances but nothing that troubled until the twenty third minute when a long cross from Ingles right saw Laithan Hammond slot home at the back post. This seemed to spark Prims in to life as the lead only lasted seven minutes when following a Prims corner which Ingles failed to clear Kevin Morrow volleyed home.
Prims were now looking to take the lead and chances fell to Fitzhugh, Fell and Morrow but they could not find the back of the net.
However on the stroke of half time Prims did get their second, a ball in to Lee Fell saw him turn his defender inside out then take the ball round the keeper to put the ball into an empty net.
The second half was was a fairly quiet affair with neither side creating much and Prims were looking comfortable with their one goal advantage. It took to the third minute of added time for Prims to settle the game. Ingles had a corner and sent their keeper up. From the corner which Prims managed to defend it fell to Joe Turner, with the keeper still in the penalty area, Turner ran seventy yards unchallenged to put the ball in to an empty net.
