Prims gathered all three points with a late headed goal on an afternoon were the windy conditions affected the quality of the game. The first half mostly containing plenty of effort from both sides with few goal scoring chances, Prims trying hard to play their passing game whilst Blaby resorting to the long ball up to their strikers, with little success as the wind mostly took the ball beyond them.

Prims got more into their stride in the second half and continued to break down any Blaby attacks and using the counter attack to great effect.
Prims duly earned their clean sheet but not after a couple of heart stopping moments, Richard Hankey superbly stopping a powerful shot from Blaby's Aaron Preston, followed moments later by Prims full back Matt Adcock clearing the ball off the goal line following a corner.
Jim Rushby's 93rd minute header wasn't his first scoring chance having been fed a great through ball by Tim Adcock, Matt's younger brother, but Rushby's shot went agonisingly wide with Blaby's keeper Jacob Cox at his mercy.
Blaby looking to play out a draw clearing several balls out of the ground in the final ten or so minutes came unstuck as the ball broke to midfield player Jack Bodill on the edge of the Blaby penalty area and he returned the ball into the danger area and picked out Rushby who's downward header found the back of the net and the deadlock was at last broken. Prims players celebrated a hard earned 3 points in difficult conditions.
