This Sunday sees us travel over the Trent into Nottingham.
The last time we met with Nottingham it finished 6-1 in their favour. Since then there has been a lot of hardwork taking place on the training ground and the recent Derby win over Lincoln allows the lads to come into this game full of confidence.
New signings in Chapple, Richards, Smalley and Sterry also helps to strengthen the squad.
The injury list remains the same with Allbrook still out with a broken toe and is probably two weeks away from resuming training. Clarke has made a welcome return to training after being out with a Pubis muscle tear and is probably one to two weeks away from playing again, after being out training hard for the last two weeks on the grass, he's just not quite at full fitness yet.
With the new season due to kick off in June the lads are eager to start building up some form ahead of the season kickoff when we travel away to Peterborough for the first day of the season. The Griffins will be looking to secure promotion to the Premier in their first season there is no other thought in their minds.
The Griffins kit is now in production after going into partnership with Tag Sportswear as their chosen kit manufacturer and the designs look amazing, the lads are definitely eager to pull on the club jersey.
The Griffins will certainly be looking for a result tomorrow and have been training hard to make sure that a positive result is the only thing coming back from Nottinghamshire. With all the recent new signings the Gaffer has a real headache now in making his team selection due to strength in depth available to him.
C'mon boys bring home that win.
