A local benefactor has donated to the club a collection of binoculars. The benefactor - who has decided to remain anonymous - has passed on this message on "I've been to The Meres on numerous occasions and the problem I've had is the pitch is too far away due to the running track. Whilst I've been on my travels I've picked up binoculars thinking that this will help solve this problem''.

Grantham Town Supporters Club Chairman Ian De'ath added "We're normally asked by visiting supporters where the best view is of the ground, of course this is from in the Main Stand, but this very generous donation is really going to enhance the viewing experience. Hopefully people will look in the right direction towards the patch of green with goals located at either end."

The Grantham Town Supporters Club have taken receipt of the binoculars and will hire them out to those requiring to use them. Cost is £2 per match, plus a £5 refundable deposit, and can be picked up from the foyer.

They will be available for Easter Monday's match with Shaw Lane. Please make sure you get to the Supporters Club shop early as we anticipate the binoculars to be snapped up quickly.
