Grantham travel to champions Blyth Spartans this Saturday in their final game of the season where they hope to return to winning ways.

The Gingerbreads come into the game after Wednesday's 2-1 defeat to Bamber Bridge in the Integro League Cup Final and two successive defeats in all competitions after losing 3-0 to Corby on Easter Monday.

Grantham also know that they can no longer get into the play-off places, with them only being able to finish as high as sixth place. Despite the two previous results in the week, Grantham boss Adam Stevens has had an optimistic approach to the season in general: "These two results overshadow what has been a fantastic season overall and we will look to celebrate that this weekend. We know Blyth have won the league and of course they will be celebrating but at the end of the day, we want to show our appreciation to the fans one last time this season and get the three points."

Champions Blyth Spartans come into the came knowing that a win will take them over the 100 point mark. After Saturday's 1-1 draw away to Ashton United, Blyth currently have 98 points and will look forward to playing in the Vanarama National League North next season.

Grantham will also be looking to make amends for the 2-1 defeat to Blyth back in August. The Gingebreads will also be hoping that they can be the second team to take the full three points away from Croft Park.

Grantham have a full squad available for this weekend's game, with no new injury concerns.
