After a run of 3 draws in a row, The Gingerbreads got back to winning ways with a 3-0 win over Marine.

After a slow start to the match, The Gingerbreads had to wait until 3 minutes before the half time whistle to break the deadlock. Lee Shaw hurried the Marine defence into a mistake, drove into the box before crossing the ball to Curtis Burrows who calmy side footed the ball passed the Marine goalkeeper from 18 yards out.

The second half started much brighter and Rhys Lewis hit the woodwork just a few minutes in. The Gingerbreads found themselves having chances very much like last week against Ilkeston, and again failing to convert them. However this time they got a second.

The Gingerbreads Captain Stefan Galinski rose up high to a corner and headed the ball home on 81 minutes.

And it was 3-0 with 4 minutes of the match to go, hard endeavoring work from Lee Shaw on the left hand side saw the ball fall to Jeremiah Dasalou who scrambled the ball over the line. However it took a moment to celebrate as it initially looked like the referee gave a foul instead.

The Gingerbreads move up to 8th and are next in action on Saturday when we visit Stourbridge
