1. Who is the best player you have played with at Grappenhall Sports and why?
Darren Davies. Best right foot in south Warrington. If he had my physique he'd have made it as a pro for sure.
2. Who is the current best player you play with and why?
Ryan Crawford. I get tired just watching him run around. A modern day Garry Flitcroft.
3. What your favourite moment whilst playing for the sports!
Guardian cup win in '06. The all dayer after was the best booze up I have ever attended.
4. You’ve played in some great teams, including a Lymm Rangers team that joined Grappenhall, but which one would you regard as the best and why?
It would have to be the Lymm Rangers team of 2001/2. For the team to score over 100 goals in a season was some feat. Midfield of Coyne, Marsh & Aston, you don't get much better than that.
5. Over the years you have scored hundreds of goals, which one is your most memorable and why?
Good question. Most memorable would have to be the winner in the Guardian cup final but most enjoyable was the last minute equaliser away to FC United when they had half the first team playing.
6. What qualities do you think make a good footballer?
Intelligence, pace, aerial ability, natural goal scorer, you can take your pick really.
7. You’ve played for Grappenhall for a number of years; what do you love most about the club?
Definitely the lads. If I didn't like the people I played with I'd have knobbed off years ago like Mark Keddie!
8. You have worked under numerous managers in your career, which did you personally like working with and how did they improve your game?
Would have to be John Ferguson; made me make the transition from on the shoulder striker to target man at the age of 29. Vital in the later stages of my career to be able to do both.
9. The current gaffer is an ex-team mate and close friend, do you see yourself heading in the same direction or becoming a coach?
No chance. Wouldn't do his job for all the tea in China. When I retire I'll be turning up to watch with £6 in my pocket for two pints.
10. What does the future hold for Daniel Sisson?
At my age you take each season as it comes. I'll see how I do this year then decide at the end of the season whether I've got another in me!
