The game began in the worst possible way for The Colliers, with George Peers' effort being deflected past Lewis Dutton by Louis Holden for an own-goal in the fourth minute.

In the 12th minute, Charlie Mann launched a long throw-in into the box, finding the head of Billy Nicholas, whose effort was on target, but saved by Airbus UK Broughton's Keighan Jones.

Mann almost come close to a goal of his own in the 18th minute, with a good run and effort resulting in the ball whistling past the post.

Airbus UK Broughton manage to get the ball in the back of the net for a second time through Danny Warren in the 22nd minute, but Katie Hannah's flag was up on the line for offside.

In the 24th minute, Warren again had the ball over the goal line, but it was called off for offside for a second time in two minutes to keep the score at 1-0.

The Wingmakers continued to knock on the door, as Mason Blackwell-Jones' strike is fired against the woodwork in the 29th minute.

Iwan Roberts produced some good work in the 35th minute, driving with the ball well and almost finding the top corner of the goal with his cross-cum-shot.

However, Airbus UK Broughton did find their second goal in the 41st minute, with Joshua Stevenson heading it past Lewis Dutton from a Jordan Evans free-kick.

It was almost one back for Gresford Athletic, as Jake Roberts' free-kick is powerful, but The Wingmakers goalkeeper Keighan Jones makes the save in the 43rd minute.

Although things got worse for The Colliers just before the break, with Mason Blackwell-Jones' effort is slotted into the side of the net in the second minute of added time.

The second half almost started with an instant goal for Airbus UK Broughton, as Danny Warren is through on goal, but he is forced out wide and his effort went wide in the 47th minute.

Gresford Athletic do get one back though, with Jake Roberts firing the ball into the back of the net in the 53rd minute to bag his 11th goal of the season.

However, Airbus UK Broughton are awarded a penalty in the 55th minute following a dubious handball from James Smith, with George Peers converting it from the spot to restore a three-goal lead.

The Wingmakers add a fifth goal in the 59th minute, as Danny Warren's effort is again deflected into the goal from Louis Holden for an unfortunate second own-goal.

Charlie Mann tried his luck in the 60th minute with a good strike, but Airbus UK Broughton's Keighan Jones made the save.

There were plenty of shouts for a Gresford Athletic penalty in the 62nd minute, but Referee Adam Herbet waved away the claims.

Haci Ozlu drove forward to create a chance in the 69th minute, but his eventual shot is saved by Jones in The Wingmakers net.

It was almost the second goal for Gresford Athletic in the 75th minute, as a mix-up in the Airbus UK Broughton box between Blaine Hudson and Keighan Jones resulted in the former clearing the ball off the line.

Then, in the 92nd minute of the game, Toby Gallagher-Keenan added a second goal for The Colliers with a fantastic strike off the post and into the net to finish the game.
