Sadly we lost our first game of the season to Horsley and Send. They scored 306/3 in their 16 overs and we only got to 278/5 in reply (after a proper recount of the scorecards after getting home... the scorers were a bit frazzled). Some great batting with Felix and Jenson doing very well, putting on 33 in their 4 overs, and of course I have to mention Theo's swashbuckling 4 to finish the match off ?. Bowling was ok, some things to work on in training tomorrow, especially trying to maintain the direction, we gave away 62 runs as extras, but a solid start, especially for those who had never played a game before, and I'm very proud of all of them. Well done!
