We lined up with the same 11 as we did against the cofis.

In the first half we were by far the better of two average sides... the homeside making life hard for themselves by giving away numerous freekicks and petty arguemnets with the referee (who i might add was outstanding). Nefyn were lucky to have 11 on the pitch after 10 minutes when their centre half clattered Steve Jones on the wing.

On 15 minutes we won a corner where set piece specialist Corey stood up to cross for steve jones to rise at the near post and clinically head home 0-1.

Five minutes later following continuous Gwalchmai pressure Corey ignored Paul Rowlands on the right to strike from 30 yards only for the ball to generously deflect off Craig Evans and nestle into the bottom corner.

The second half of the first forty five fizzles out and it ended up 0-2 HT.

For the first 20 minutes Nefyn dominated following a successful change of tactics ... however despite numerous midfield efforts they failed to penetrate the resolute Gwalchmai backline.

The coaching staff became aware of the shift in dominance and responded accordingly. Paul Bryant was introduced to stableize the midfield and Scruff entered the fold to enhance our attacking threat.

We killed the game off on 70 minutes when Corey played Scruff in on goal to clinically make it 0-3.

Five minutes later the continuous silly fouls by Nefyn's centre half brought down James Burgess 30 yards out from goal... This allowed Corey to strike early catching the home keeper off guard to make it 0-4.

On 80 minutes some sloppy play by the Gwalchmai midfield allowed Nefyn to attack 3 on 2 only for Kenny to pull off an excellent point blank one on one save.

The remainder of the game fizzled out with the home side adding pressure to nil effect and there being no change in the scoreline which resulted in the game ending 0-4 FT.

Today in the first half we yet again proved to be the better of two average sides. In the second half we with-stood pressure from the home side before pushing on and killing off the game.

The back four/five were solid, the midfield dominated for the majority of the 90 despite for the first 20 minutes of the second half where the home side failed to find that killer ball. Our attackers were effective in fits and starts at times not protecting the back line yet at other times causing havoc infront of Nefyn's defence.
