WH & G traveled to Bugbrooke to complete their 2015 league season.

James captaining the team in Daniel and Archie's absences, won the toss and quickly elected to insert Bugbrooke into bat.

Some attacking shots helped the first Bugbrooke pair to race along, without losing a wicket.

However WH &G responded with wickets for Joseph, Daniel Tyrrell and Henry. 2 excellent catches by Joseph, although dropping possibly an easier chance earlier on. 3 catches were dropped in total!

Generally an excellent display in the field, with Daniel Tyrrell picking up 2 more wickets, and Henry returning for the last pair to take 3 important wickets. James kept really well behind the stumps, stopping the ball impressively on numerous occasions. Bugbrooke finished on 256 for 7 (21 net). Joseph picked up his first ever wicket, Edward another and the impressive duo of Daniel (2) and Henry 3 being the stand out performers.

In response disaster struck first ball as Rory was bowled.

However some lose delivery's and fine batting by Joseph resulted in first pair putting on 28 net.

Harry came on for Bugbrooke and he ended up taking 4 wickets and getting Bugbrooke back in to the game, as Edward and Daniel both lost wickets. As did Josh. And Henry continued his fine game and steadied the innings, with 14 not out.

The last pair of James and Olly also got out, but did enough to see the team home. Finishing on 287 for 8, slightly disappointing, but continuing the fine form to complete the league season.

Everyone this year should be proud of the efforts, and the performances level continue to improve. I would have preferred to have lost less wickets, but overall a good team performance.

MOTM - Henry Edmonds excellent bowling, batting and fielding. Closely followed by Joseph.
