Another pleasing victory today away to Hawkesbury Bell FC.
After the relentless bombardment of the Hawkesbury goal, the deadlock was finally broken by Jon Edmonds who calmly slotted past the oppositions goalkeeper. Another 3 goals in the game for Jon Edmonds took him to 4 in the game and 7 in two games this season.
Connor Maguire came off the bench and showed great composure to beat the advancing goalkeeper to roll the ball into the empty net. Sêan Wilkes nearly added to his tally for the season, but saw his penalty pushed onto the crossbar in the second half....stick to worldies Willy!! Hawkesbury grabbed themselves a consolation goal in the second half from a shot through bodies in the box.
Another 3 points on the board and it could of easily been a hat full more for the lads, but for the defending of Hawkesbury.and their goalkeeper keeping the scoreline down.
